Hi there, I’m Jennifer Nadeau, an interior stylist based in Sydney, offering virtual and in-person design serviceS.
Having lived around the globe in the UK and Canada before settling in Australia, I feel it’s a vital part of life to feel connected to the spaces we live in.
My passion is designing welcoming, functional and sustainable spaces that foster a strong connection to the surrounding environment.
WHY DID I START NATIVE HABITAT INTERIORS?
Born out of the experience of designing and building my own home, I wanted to share my knowledge with others.
As I channelled countless hours of research and decision-making, and the pursuit of combining function and form into designing my home, I realised the exciting yet daunting nature of a new build or renovation project without professional guidance and expertise can be overwhelming, wishing as the client I was getting more advice and insight from the builder to inform my choices.
Learning from industry experts gave me the confidence to make the leap and start my own interiors business
I completed a Certificate IV in Interior Decoration with Design School in Melbourne, where I expanded my knowledge of responsible and sustainable work practices, in addition to staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques to be able to deliver practical and professional design services.
